0 Cheap Car VW Appears 3 Years

German car manufacturer Volkswagen is rumored to be making cheap cars costing from Rp 62 million to Rp 124 million. The car will be launched in 2015.

Luxury car brand, as reported previously detikOto will use a new brand instead of the VW brand.

It is a strategy to counter rivals like the VW Dacia Renault and Nissan Datsun in emerging markets.

Reported by Reuters on Monday (10/15/2012), not only the hatchback only, cheap car models that will range from vans, estate and small sedans.

"We are looking for an exciting new segment in the market, and that includes cheap cars," said spokesman Eric Felber. "But the decision has not been taken," said Felber.

Cheap car platform Volkswagen is expected to take the platform of the Volkswagen Up! introduced in Frankfurt in 2011. This car has a 1.0 liter engine with 3 cylinders.

In Indonesia Datsun will be dealing with a cheap car from Tata Motors, Toyota and Daihatsu and Suzuki cheap car is being prepared.
