General Motors will soon introduce "Springo" (new trademark), this new model is an electric version of the Chevrolet Sail in the event the Guangzhou Motor Show 2012, the birth month.
Unknown, whether it be electric cars will still carry the name of Sail or even the other. By cooperating with its local partner, Shanghai Automotive (Sail that assemble in China), GM did some redesign on some of the exterior of this car. As a result, Springo now looks more like the Volt that has a futuristic design thanks to the design of the lights, grille, and front bumper.
To support the performance, the car is equipped with a 87 PS electric motor with torque of 200 Nm. The electric motor is powered by lithium-ion battery is 22 kWh of which can cover a distance of 150 km on a single full. While to charge the battery from empty to full, it takes about 7 hours. This midsize sedan is also able to bring you racing at speeds up to 130 kph.
